Global mega trends such as climate change, urbanization, or scarcity of water, land and commodities disconcert many people – not just in Germany. Negative consequences concern people in Africa, Asia, and Latin America in particular. While those mega trends stir worry, they also stimulate search to resolve precarious situations. To deepen awareness and understanding, ZEIT, Christ & Welt, and Welthungerhilfe jointly hold a series of events, entitled “Wem gehört die Welt? Globale Megatrends erkennen und gerecht gestalten” (Who owns the world? Detecting and justly managing global mega trends).
